Day 1. April 7, 2009
Arrival to Longyearbyen by SAS flight. Hotel accommodation.
Receiving of the special clothes. Free time in Longearbyen.

Day 2. April 8, 2009
Morning transfer from the hotel to the airport.
Air plane embarkation. Flight to ice-camp Barneo by polar aircraft AN-74. Appr. flight-time – 2 h 30m (weather dependent).
Arrival to ice-camp Barneo. Sightseeing excursion around Barneo. Accommodation in the heated tents (one tent for 10-12 people).
Dinner.

Day 3. April 9, 2009
Breakfast.
Helicopter boarding for the flight to the geographical North Pole (weather dependent) in the morning. Appr. Flight-time – 40 min.
Celebrating of the arrival to the North Pole. You have an opportunity to make a short phone call to your friends or relatives via satellite phone.
Helicopter will depart for Barneo in approximately 1 hour after landing.
Expedition tents will be pitched in the North Pole surrounding for overnight accommodation.

Day 4. April 10, 2009
Striking the camp, meeting helicopter, and return to the Barneo Ice Camp (by MI-8 helicopter, approx. flight duration: 40 min).
Flight to Longyearbyen by AN-74 in the evening. Transfer to the Hotel. Hotel accommodation.

Day 5. April 11, 2009
Spare day due to possible weather conditions. The North Pole Certificate ceremony. Time and place are to be discussed with expedition participants and announced in advance.
Free time in Longyearbyen.

Day 6. April 12, 2009
Free time before the flight home.
Flight to Oslo/Tromso by SAS (weather dependent).

Such changes are to be made in our customers’ interests and with regards to their safety.
Changes and amendments may apply to the programme, depending on the weather, ice or other conditions. It is important to consider possible delays or alterations, and take them with patience. We strongly recommend you to acquire insurance against full or partial cancellation of the expedition.
